The award ceremony of the “KHATAI” Academic Legal Writing Competition—organized for the first time in our country to enhance academic legal writing, research, and analytical skills among law students and young legal professionals—was held.

More than 60 participants from various prestigious universities across the republic took part in the competition’s three-stage selection process. The Evaluation Committee—composed of legal scholars who are experts in their fields—positively assessed the written submissions of ten participants, who successfully completed the competition:

  6. Aybeniz Gozelova – “The Possibility of Transferring a Decedent’s Social Media Accounts to Heirs”

  7. Amina  Ahmadova – “Customs Procedures for Goods and Vehicles and Analysis of the Customs Declaration”

  8. Valida Agazade – “Reduction of Criminal Sentences and Human Rights: Azerbaijani Experience and Compliance with International Standards”

  9. Shahmar Soltanli – “Housing Inviolability: Legal and Ethical Issues”

  10. Xumar Sadiqzade and Fidan Guliyeva – “Artificial Intelligence and New Technologies in Forensics: Efficiency in Crime Solving and Legal Limitations”
